One Injured in Shooting in Myrtle Beach Saturday Night, Suspect in Custody

Myrtle Beach police officers have made an arrest in connection to a shooting that happened on Saturday night. 19 year old Jamakion Kyleme Spivey of Myrtle Beach was arrested and charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and simple possession of marijuana. Police were called to the Sandygate Village Apartments around 11:30 pm Saturday after an officer in the area heard gunshots. One person was taken to a hospital before police arrived and their condition is unknown. Spivey is behind bars at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center without bond.
