President Biden Pardons ‘Peanut Butter’ and ‘Jelly’ Ahead of Thanksgiving

Now the pair will head to Purdue University.

Meet two lucky turkeys …Peanut Butter and Jelly. The birds are from Indiana and they’ll have their lives spared for thanksgiving as they’ve been chosen to receive this year’s presidential pardon. Before their pardoning for the annual holiday tradition, the two were special guests at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel. Following the ceremony, the two birds will make their way to Purdue University to live out the rest of their days in the Animal Science Research and Education Center. Both will serve as an educational tool for students.
