The study, from the University of Georgia, found that adding pecans to your regular diet can improve your heart health. Researchers found that people who lived an inactive lifestyle who began regularly snacking on pecans had reduced their levels of bad cholesterol, triglycerides, and other fats in their blood. Too much cholesterol in your blood could lead to clots…which in turn leads to heart attacks or strokes.
