Fatal Crash in Marlboro County Left One Dead, Another in Hospital

The driver of a Ford Explorer ran off the road and did not survive the crash.

A crash in Marlboro County left one person dead and another is in the hospital.  It happened around 9:40 last night on Highway 15 near Bennettsville.  The driver of a Ford Explorer ran off the road  and did not survive the crash. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.  The passenger was wearing a seatbelt and was taken to the hospital.
