CCU Board of Trustees Votes to End Mask Mandate on Campus

Last night, the Coastal Carolina University board of trustees voted to end it’s mask mandate. During a special meeting the board voted unanimously to abolish the mandate at the end of the Fall semester which is on December 13th with an immediate exemption for performance groups. During the meeting, University President Dr. Michael Benson suggested keeping the mandate for the rest of the semester and revisiting the question for the Spring but during an executive session, they decided to end it next month.
