Trump Loses Executive Privilege Case

Yesterday, a federal judge rejected former President Trump’s attempt to control information from reaching the January 6th Committee. With the ruling, 700 pages of records from Trump’s White House will be released to the committee for review. On Friday, the National Archives will turn over the documents to the House which includes White House call logs, video logs and schedules related to January 6th as well as three pages of handwritten notes from Trump’s then Chief of Staff. The release could help the committee in it’s pursuit of more information from those around Trump including witnesses who have been subpoenaed but haven’t provided their testimonies yet.
