NFL Fines Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers, Allen Lazard for Violating Covid-19 Protocols

The NFL has issued fines to the Green Bay Packers, along with quarterback Aaron Rodgers and receiver Allen Lazard. The fines come after a review found the team and both players did not follow Covid-19 protocols. According to spokesman Brian McCarthy, the Packers were fined $300,000 and Rodgers and Lazard were each fined $14,650. The NFL determined the two each attended a Halloween party despite being unvaccinated which is a violation of protocols that prohibits unvaccinated players from gathering outside of team facilities in a group of more than three. The NFL said the team did not sanction the party but was aware of it after the fact and is being fined for failure to report violations and failure to discipline Rodgers and Lazard.
