Astroworld Music Festival in Houston Texas Turns Deadly
A lawsuit has been opened against rapper Travis Scott, Live Nation and other performers after dozens of people were injured and multiple killed at the Astroworld Festival in Houston Texas on Friday night. When Scott took the stage, concert-goers stampeded closer to it which resulted in 8 deaths and several people injured. The sold out show consisted of 50,000 people in the crowd. It was so tightly packed, when audience members were pushed towards the stage, they were crushed to the point of not being able to breathe causing some to pass out. Some concert-goers describe the event as “traumatizing” and say they saw lifeless bodies being trampled during the chaos. The Houston Police Department is in the early stages of their investigation. The lawsuit alleges that Scott actively encouraged his fans to “rage” at his concerts which has led to previous violent incidents at numerous past concerts.
