WFXB Spotlights Local Veteran Lou Krieger on Carolina A.M.

Lou Krieger is a moderator for the Myrtle Beach PTSD Group, a peer veterans group that meets each week.

Lou Krieger is a moderator for the Myrtle Beach PTSD Group, a peer veterans group that meets each week.  Krieger served near Pleiku Vietnam, in the Central Highlands, where he was a cryptographer and radio operator.  His work included intercept operations for Special Forces Units, 173rd Airborne and the 1st Air Cavalry Division.  He also spent time in Asmara, Ethiopia.  Krieger began a career in broadcasting, volunteering to work with Armed Forces Radio until his discharge in 1971.   He was a radio DJ for 25 years in Baltimore before moving to Myrtle Beach to work for Sunny 106.5.  In 2015,  he was inducted into the Maryland Entertainment Hall of Fame!  You can contact him at louk1065@gmail.com.
