Officers Investigating Shooting in Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach Police Officers are investigating after a person showed up at a local hospital with an apparent gunshot wound. According to police, the person arrived at the hospital shortly before 5 am this morning and officers were able to locate a vehicle with damage consistent with the gunshot. Police say the investigation indicated the shooting happened near 3rd Avenue North and Cedar Street. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
