Are you doing your dishes this way?
Turn your dishes facing the center and angled down toward the washer jets. Do the same for the your things on the top rack. Most dishwashers have rotating spray arms under the top and bottom racks and spray upward to wash and rinse. We checked with a manufacturer to confirm this tip.
Peroxide that Grout!
Mix equal part of baking soda and peroxide into a paste to clean to remove the dirt and stains in your grout. Scrub it with a soft bristle brush, wipe with a damp towel and you may be amazed!
Are you washing your washer’s filter?
Does yours sometimes smell? This may sound like good common sense but believe it or not, it’s often overlooked. Clean your filter. Most are in a back corner or near the base of the spray arm. Check your manual. Most come out with a twist and lift. If you’ve never done this before you may be grossed out the first time. Food particles get stuck in there. Clean it out and replace. Check it every month.
