Body Found in Robeson County Identified as Missing Woman

The body that was found along the side of a road in a wooded area in Robeson County has been identified. According to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, the remains were those of 42 year old Jessica Lawrence who was reported missing by a family member after last being seen on September 26th. 42 year old Michael Brayboy was spotted driving Lawrence’s Jeep and was taken into custody after a traffic stop near Highway 701 North in Red Springs. He is being charged with failure to report a change of address by a sex offender. A friend of Lawrence’s said her and Brayboy had plans to go to Pembroke the night she went missing.
