Queen of England Declines “Oldie of the Year” Award

The annual title usually goes to "people of advanced age who have made a special contribution to public life."

The Queen of England is pushing 96 years old, but she’s still kicking butt and taking names. Except for this one….Her Majesty was forced to politely decline the honored “Oldie of the Year” award bestowed upon her by a British magazine. The annual title usually goes to “people of advanced age who have made a special contribution to public life.” Her late husband Prince Phillip received the award in 2011, but the Queen felt she did not meet the criteria and that one is only as old as they feel.
