Brady Makes NFL History With 600th Touchdown
Yesterday Tom Brady made NFL history when he became the first player in the league to have thrown 600 touchdown passes in his career. The 44 year old is the leagues all-time leader in passing yards and finished yesterday’s game against the Chicago Bears with four touchdowns bringing his total to 602. Mike Evans who caught Brady’s historic 600th touchdown gave the ball to a lucky fan not realizing it was it was a milestone for Brady. After some negotiation with the fan, Tampa Bay agreed to swap the ball for another ball and ‘some kind of signed jersey’ according to a source.
The game also marked Brady’s 97th game with three-plus touchdown passes and his 39th game with four or more touchdowns. For both of those records, Brady is tied with Drew Brees. After the game Brady met a young fan who was holding up a ‘Tom Brady helped me beat brain cancer’ sign…he put his hat on the boy’s head and shook his hand.
