Man Charged with Attempted Murder in Florence County

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a Florence Police Officer heard a gunshot on Monday. According to Captain Mike Brandt with the Florence Police Department, officers were called to the area of Bradford Street and Timmons Street for reports of a man with a gun. The officer then saw Michael Lesesne running away from the area and took him into custody. Lesesne is being charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. According to Brandt, no one was injured. Lesesne is being held at the Florence County Detention Center.
