At Least 2 Dead After Plane Crashes in California Neighborhood

At least two people died in a plane crash in southern California neighborhood yesterday afternoon when a twin-engine plane crashed into a UPS vehicle. According to a statement from UPS, an employee was one of the people killed. UPS said “we are heartbroken by the loss of our employee, and extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends.”

According to the city of Santee the incident occurred around noon and two homes in the neighborhood sustained major damage from the plane’s impact and two or three more were damaged. It was unknown how many people were on board. The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
