Officials Ask Brian Laundrie’s Father to Get Involved in Search

It’s been three weeks since Brian Laundrie was reported missing by his parents and new details following the case have been released. According to a source close to the Laundrie family, police have found the remnants of a campsite that appeared to be used recently in the Carlton Reserve that has been closed to visitors since authorities began searching for Brian. Laundrie’s father has also been asked to show law enforcement the trails and parts of the reserve which his son had been known to use but because of the campsite discovery, police restricted their search yesterday and did not include his father.

The North Port Police have also confirmed that a notice was placed on an abandoned vehicle that belonged to the Laundrie family near the nature reserve on September 14th. The search for Laundrie began on September 17th after his family told authorities that he left home and that he was heading to the reserve.
