McMaster Set to Make Announcement on I-73 in Horry County

Governor McMaster is expected to make an announcement this afternoon in Horry County. The announcement surrounds a plan that will include a construction project for I-73 in Horry County according to State Senator Stephen Goldfinch. S.C. Department of Transportation Secretary Christy Hall will join McMaster for the announcement. Goldfinch said “my understanding from others is that the funds towards the project would be “no less than what he dedicated for I-26.” Which he added was in the range of $300 million. The hopes are for construction to begin in two years.
