Myrtle Beach Man Behind Bars in Connection to Shooting on Saturday

A man is behind bars after a shooting in Myrtle Beach on Saturday. Myrtle Beach Police Officers responded to the area of 9th Avenue South and Freedom Way in reference to a disturbance with shots fired. It was determined that 28 year old Igor Lourenco of Myrtle Beach was seen looking into vehicles in the area and when confronted by a victim police say Lourenco fired a weapon at the victim. Lourenco is being charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He is being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on a $125,000 bond.
