CCU Moves Up in AP Top 25 Poll Ranking to Number 16

Coastal Carolina University has once again moved up in the AP Top 25 poll to Number 16. The CCU Chanticleers defeated U-Mass with a score of 53 to 3 on Saturday. The Chants have won 14 of their last 15 games. The team has been nationally ranked in the AP Poll for 16 weeks! Meanwhile, Clemson fell from number 9 to number 25 after losing to NC State and this marks the first time in program history that CCU is ranked higher than either Clemson or the University of South Carolina which is unranked. The Chants will play their Sun Belt Conference opener against the University of Louisiana Monroe on Saturday at 2:30 pm.
