FBI Investigators Search Brian Laundrie’s Home

Details surrounding the disappearance of Gabby Petito have been developing over the weekend. Yesterday, police found human remains during a search around the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area in Bridger-Teton National Forest on the edge of Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming that are believed to be Gabby’s. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow. Petito’s fiance Brian Laundrie was reported missing over the weekend after not being seen since last week. Authorities are now searching for him in a nature reserve near his home in Florida.

This morning, police and FBI investigators surrounded and entered the Laundrie home in North Port as part of a court authorized search warrant related to the case. His parents were escorted from the home before the search began and then were brought back inside for questioning. Petito and Laundrie had been road-tripping in a white van through the western part of the U.S. this summer and were posting videos, pictures and stories to their social media pages along the way. Laundrie returned to his home in Florida with their van but without Petito on September 1st, her family reported her missing ten days later on September 11th.
