Rolling Stone Updated Their 500 Greatest Songs of All Time List

Aretha Franklin took the top spot!

For the first time in 17 years, Rolling Stone completely remade their list of the best songs ever. More than 250 artists and writers put their votes in and the new edition had more hip hop and modern country. More than half of the songs weren’t on the old list. At number one is Aretha Franklin’s ‘Respect’.
