Woman Charged in Connection to Fatal Motorcycle Crash in North Myrtle Beach

A woman has been charged in connection to a fatal motorcycle crash in North Myrtle Beach. Yesterday, the South Carolina Highway Patrol confirmed that 46 year old Nikki Eddy of Longs had been charged with ‘felony DUI – death results’ in connection to the crash. Last Thursday around 8 p.m. troopers say Eddy was driving east on Highway 90 near the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex when she crossed the center lane and hit the motorcycle. The motorcyclist was identified as 72 year old Michael Allen from Galivants Ferry. According to records, Eddy has been released from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on a $30,000 bond.
