N.C. Thrift Store Finds Special1872 Document Hidden Behind Painting

It was an amazing discovery!

It was a long lost marriage certificate! Thanks to the owners, the 149 year old document was reunited with the couple’s surviving descendent. The painting had been donated to one of the organization’s Hope Chest Thrift store locations in Bolivia, North Carolina and with the help of social media, staff was able to track down the rightful relative.
