Woman Cited For Leaving Two Dogs in Hot Car in Myrtle Beach

A woman was cited for leaving two dogs in a hot car at Best Buy on Oak Forest Lane in Myrtle Beach. Police officers were called to the store on Wednesday on a report of the animals left inside of the vehicle. Officers say at the time of the incident the temperature was 84 degrees and sunny. They found the vehicle not running with all four windows closed and two dogs inside panting heavily. The owner of the dogs came out of the store, turned on the air-conditioning and was issued a citation. According to police the temperature inside the car was 107 degrees in the front and 105 in the back.
