HCS Covid-19 Case Numbers Grows, Vaccine Clinics Being Held Tomorrow
The number of positive Coronavirus tests in Horry County Schools continues to grow. Not even a week after students returned to classrooms, HCS has reported there are currently 185 cases which includes 158 students and 27 staff members according to the Horry County Schools Covid-19 Case Dashboard. There are 52 staff members in quarantine. The most cases at a single school are 13 at St. James Elementary School.
We also wanted to remind you that HCS is holding a back-to school vaccination clinics at the high schools tomorrow. Pfizer vaccines will be given from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Conway, Carolina Forest, Loris and Socastee High Schools. Clinics are open to students and staff and registration is required. The clinics are being hosted by Conway Medical Center and Horry County Schools.
