Woman Charged with Attempted Murder in Connection to a Shooting in Florence

A woman has been charged with attempted murder in connection to a shooting outside of a bar in Florence on Saturday morning. Officers with the Florence Police Department responded to the scene of 507 Live on South Irby Street around 3 a.m. Saturday. According to police someone had fired a shot from within a crowd of people as officers arrived. Two victims were treated at a local hospital. Police later learned that the incident stemmed from an argument between two women in the parking lot and one of the injured victims Myequaja Yeshiema Zyebreia Poole allegedly fired the shot at one of the women who were fighting. She then pointed the firearm at an armed security officer and was then shot. Poole was treated at a hospital and booked into the Florence County Detention Center.
