Nathaniel Rowland Sentenced to Life in Prison for the Murder of USC Student Samantha Jospehson

Nathaniel Rowland has been found guilty and sentenced to life in prison for the murder of USC student Samantha Jospehson. In March of 2019 Josephson got into Rowland’s car thinking it was her Uber. Rowland was charged with murder, kidnapping and possession of a weapon during a violent crime for kidnapping and stabbing Josephson to death. After a 6 day trial, Rowland was found guilty after about 2 hours of deliberation. Rowland’s defense attorney asked for a new trial which the judge denied. Rowland was immediately taken into custody to begin his sentence.
