Wanted Atlanta Man Arrested in Horry County on Sunday
A fugitive wanted for over two years was arrested by Horry County Police on Sunday morning. 35 year old Brett Lehman of Atlanta is being held without bond at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center after he was arrested on a warrant for terroristic threat. He was also charged with possession of multiple weapons as a result of not being allowed to have weapons because of a restraining order issued in New Jersey. Officers with the HCPD responded to an apartment on Paddington Court at 7:30 am after getting a call about a wanted person. He was arrested after trying to escape through the rear of the apartment where he was hiding. Officers recovered several weapons from the scene. He is currently facing extradition to Georgia.
