Professional Golfer Gene Siller Killed at Country Club in Atlanta, Suspect on Run

Police are looking for the suspect who shot and killed professional golfer Gene Siller at a country club in Atlanta Georgia on Saturday. Cobb County Police responded to a report of a person shot around 2:20 p.m. and found Siller unresponsive on the green of the 10th hole of the Pinetree Country Club with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect drove to the green in a white Ram 3500 pickup truck and shot Siller, then the suspect fled. Police discovered the truck still on the green and found the bodies of two additional men in the bed of the truck. according to police, both had suffered apparent gunshot wounds. One of the men was identified as Paul Pierson the owner of the truck but the other victim has yet to be identified. Police are still searching for the unidentified suspect. Students at Kennesaw State University, a campus near the country club received an alert regarding the incident from the universities emergency management twitter account.
