Florence Police Officers Investigating Shooting Incident

Florence Police Officers are investigating after people in 2 cars were seen shooting at each other. According to Captain Mike Brandt with the Florence Police Department, police were called at around 8:29 p.m. to the 500 block of East Palmetto Street on reports of a shooting. Officers discovered the occupants of two vehicles were shooting at each other while driving down the road. Both cars left the area and no injuries were reported but one business had damage to one of it’s windows. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Florence Police Department.
