One Injured After Assault At Gas Station in Myrtle Beach

One person was injured  during an assault that led to shots fired at an Exxon gas station in Myrtle Beach. Police were called to the business in the 2400 block of North Kings Highway around 11:30 a.m. yesterday morning on reports of an assault. During the incident, a weapon was discharged and one person sustained non-life threatening injuries. Information from the scene shows the weapon was fired into the air and not at the person. Officials detained one person in connection to the incident. No other details are available at this time.
