17 Year Old Killed, Another Person Injured After Shooting in Lumberton

A 17 year old was killed and another person was injured during a shooting in Lumberton last night. Officers of the Lumberton Police Department were dispatched on a report of a shooting at 208 Main Street at 10:53 p.m. During the investigation of the incident, officers said two people had been shot at the location and one of the victims was transported to UNC Health Southeastern, the other was not located at the scene or the hospital but officers found the deceased 17 year old while searching the area along Dunn Road near Kenny Biggs Road, investigators are currently working to identify witnesses and anyone with information is encouraged to call the Lumberton Police Department.
