Man Arrested for Second Degree Arson in Myrtle Beach
The suspect told police he set fire to a tunnel at Ripley's Haunted House in order to cleanse the world by burning the synagogue.
The person police say started a fire at Ripley’s Haunted House is in custody and facing second degree arson. Ripley’s Haunted House on Ninth Avenue in Myrtle Beach was burned Saturday night after authorities say the suspect, Daniel Huff, setting the walls of an indoor tunnel on fire. Police say Huff told them he did it to cleanse the world by burning the synagogue. The SLED bomb squad and the Myrtle Beach Fire Department responded to the fire. It’s still under investigation.
