How Long it Takes Your Body to Fall Out of Shape

Being consistent with working out isn't easy.

Being consistent with working out isn’t easy for everyone and unfortunately you become unfit a lot faster than it took to get in shape. For strength training, some muscle gain can be shown in about two weeks and changes in muscle size won’t be seen for 8 to 12. But, evidence shows that in the average person, 12 weeks without training causes a significant decrease in the amount of weight we can lift.  Even worse, for those who like to focus on cardio, we don’t start to feel these effects for at least two to three weeks of training but, we start losing cardiovascular strength after only 48 hours of stopping.
