Man Arrested In Connection To Shooting That Killed Mother In Florence

A man has been arrested in connection to a shooting in Florence. 25 year old Eric Timmons Jr. is suspected of shooting his mother 46 year old Valerie Baccus on West Cheves Street in Florence on Wednesday morning. Timmons was arrested at an Econo Lodge in Sanford North Carolina at about 4:20 p.m. after investigators developed a lead that led them to that location. Timmons was transported back to Florence and booked in the Florence County Detention Center.
