Police Arrest 2 People After Fight On A Dock In Myrtle Beach

Police have arrested two people after a fight on May 23rd on a dock in Myrtle Beach that left a victim injured with broken bones. According to Horry County Police, 22 year old River Squires was arrested on Tuesday and charged with third-degree assault and battery by a mob. 22 year old  Jonathon Bratcher of Conway was arrested on May 23rd and charged with second-degree assault and battery. On the 23rd, officers were called to Chamberlain Road after reports of a fight between 6 to 10 people on the dock after a dispute on the Intracoastal Waterway. Squires punched one of the victims in the face and head leaving him with minor cuts and scrapes and he and another male were seen on security camera assaulting other victims. Bratcher picked up another victim and slammed him on his back which caused the victim to have several broken bones. Both Squires and Bratcher were released from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on bond. $1,000 for Squires and $2,000 for Bratcher.
