SLED And Police Officers Are Investigating Shootings In Loris

SLED is investigating a deadly shooting in Loris. According to Loris Police Chief Gary Buley officers responded to the scene on Cox Road and Cannon Road yesterday around 7:45 p.m. and found one person had been shot. As of this morning, no suspect is in custody in connection to the shooting. Police have not said if the shooting is connected to a similar shooting that happened on Highway 746 near downtown Loris around 9 p.m. According to Horry County officials, three people were injured during that shooting.
