Following months of updates and improvements, the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel has announced its grand reopening party.

Following months of updates and improvements, the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel has announced its grand reopening party. In time to celebrate the SkyWheel’s 10th birthday, the event will take place on Thursday, May 20th. It will include giveaways, food and drink specials, and more. The SkyWheel Myrtle Beach was disassembled back in January and then sent to Wichita, Kansas, for an overhaul including new paint, new flooring and seat coverings, a decorative exterior light-up center globe and much more. It will also have a brand new 15-minute light show that will kick off daily at sunset. For locals, SkyWheel tickets will cost 10 dollars the day of the event, to mark the attraction’s anniversary.
