1 Dead, 3 Others Injured In Crash In Galivants Ferry

1 person has died and 3 others were injured in a two vehicle crash in Galivants Ferry last night. Horry County Fire Rescue crews were called to the area of Barnhill Road and Sycamore Circle at 9:30 p.m. According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, a car attempted to pass another vehicle while traveling North on Barnhill Road and struck a Jeep traveling Southbound. The driver of the Jeep died as a result of the accident. Two other people were in the Jeep and were taken to a local hospital, the driver of the other car was also take to the hospital with injuries. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
