Officials say two students and one adult are recovering from non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting at a middle school in Idaho yesterday. A 6th grade girl at Rigby Middle School brought a handgun to school and began shooting before a teacher intervened. Two of the victims were shot inside the school before the girl exited and shot another outside. All three were hit in the limbs and are expected to survive. The school, which consists of 1,500 students went into lockdown during the incident. A female teacher was the one who stopped the girl from harming more people. She was able to take the handgun from the girl and hold her until police arrived. Authorities are still investigating how the student got the gun in the first place and what her motive for the shooting was. Rigby Middle as well as all schools in the Jefferson School District are closed today.
