A Bennettsville Man Has Been Sentenced To 35 Years In Jail For A Gang Related Killing
A Bennettsville man has been sentenced to 35 years in jail for a gang related killing. According to 4th Circuit Deputy Solicitor Kernard Redmond, a jury found James Monroe Brown guilty of murder in a gang-related killing in January of 2017. The victim James Henderson Jr was shot at least eight times at a mobile home park on Hillian Edwards Road near Cheraw. Redmond said Brown ‘is not eligible for any reductions and will serve the entire sentence.’
