3 Arrested On Drug Trafficking Charges In Horry County

3 people were arrested earlier this month on drug trafficking charges in Horry County. Officers charged Barbaro Vazquez and Dawn Poston with drug trafficking and other charges after an operation at the Coral Sands Motel on Ocean Boulevard. According to police they seized 47 grams of heroin and fentanyl, 17 grams of meth, 9 grams of crack cocaine, about 5 grams of marijuana, a Glock 43 9mm handgun and $1,862 in cash. In the second operation, Timmy Alston Jr. was charged with multiple counts of possession with intent to distribute. Alston was pulled over during a traffic stop for being a wanted person and 2.57 grams of heroin, 3.63 grams of cocaine base, a half gram of cocaine, three grams of marijuana, and $2,133 in cash were found when officers searched his car.
