Google wants to help keep you safe with a new “Heads Up” feature.
Basically, the feature urges “smart-phone zombies” to turn their gaze away from their device while walking. “Heads Up” can track your location and knows when you’re walking as well as when your screen is active. It then sends alerts like ‘look ahead’, ‘stay focused’, and ‘watch out’. Officials at Google say if you’ve ever tripped on the sidewalk or walked into a pole while texting, you’re not alone.
