Baylor Beats Gonzaga in NCAA’s March Madness Championship Game

The Baylor bears are the NCAA men's basketball champions!

The Baylor bears are the NCAA men’s basketball champions! After defeating Gonzaga 86 to 70 last night, this is the first time in history that Baylor took the title. The bears took an early lead and never let it go, although the bulldogs almost caught up in the second half.
Baylor coach Scott Drew said the team got off to a great start and the players fed off of each other throughout the game. This is Drew’s 18th year as head coach. President Biden issued a congratulatory tweet in which he said “After an unimaginable year, every team in the tournament proved what’s possible with hard work and determination. You made your schools, communities, and country proud”.
