City Of Myrtle Beach Rescinds It’s Mask Requirement
The city of Myrtle Beach has rescinded it’s mask requirement for businesses and extended it’s emergency declaration. It began at noon today with businesses having the option of requiring masks in indoor public spaces if their staff and patrons are concerned about contracting the virus. The city is urging businesses to require masks in indoor settings but they are no longer required. The order still requires masks to be worn in city offices and government buildings. Temporary sign allowances granted last year for restaurants and businesses will continue through April. Last week, the North Myrtle Beach council voted to let their state of emergency and mask ordinance expire.
