Woman Charged for Intentionally Setting Hotel Room on Fire in Myrtle Beach
A woman is accused of intentionally starting a fire in a hotel room in Myrtle Beach. The Myrtle Beach Police Department responded to reports of a fire in a room at the Caravelle Resort at 6900 North Ocean Boulevard on February 7th shortly after 1 a.m. During the investigation, officials determined that 29 year old Kandyce Praniewski placed flammable material on a stove top inside her room to intentionally set a fire inside the hotel. The arrest warrant shows that the cabinets and other items in the room caught fire. She was arrested Monday and charged with arson second degree and released from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
