Boulder Colorado Shooting Update

The suspect in the Boulder Colorado shooting is expected to make his first court appearance tomorrow. 21 year old Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa is charged with 10 counts of first degree murder. He was shot in the leg during the incident. He was booked into the county jail on murder charges yesterday after being treated at a hospital. He’s described by family members as paranoid and antisocial. Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold released the names of the victims and said their ages ranged from 20 to 65. Among them was 51 year old Police Officer Eric Talley who was one of the first to respond to the call. He joined the force in 2010 and leaves behind 7 children and his wife. Boulder County District Attorney Michael Dougherty said investigators have not yet established a motive but believe Alissa was the only shooter. A number of vigils have been scheduled to commemorate the victims.
