March Madness Tournament Begins

After missing last year, March Madness has arrived! College basketball fans will gather across the nation to root for their favorite teams after last year’s tournament was cancelled due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. The men’s March Madness series will take place in a bubble environment in Indiana with the Final Four taking place at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The women’s tournament will be held in Texas with their Final Four being played at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The men’s tournament started yesterday when the first four faced off. Here are some highlights: Drake beat Wichita State and got their first NCAA Men’s Tournament win since 1971. The team will play USC on Saturday. UCLA beat Michigan State in overtime by three points! UCLA will face BYU on Saturday.  The women’s tournament will start Sunday and the championship will be held on April 5th.
