Amazon Expanding Telemedicine Across the Country

Amazon is expanding into the healthcare industry. The company will be making their amazon care app available to all of their employees across the country by summer and will then expand to private employers who wish to join the program. The app connects users virtually with doctors who can provide services and treatments over the phone, 24 hours a day. The program launched to Amazon’s Seattle employees 18 months ago and has been a hit among users. The company’s care director says this service helps bring “high-quality convenience and peace of mind.”
